Lortone Trim Saws

Lortone Trim Saws are used for cutting slabs to finished configurations
and for slabbing small pieces of material. Each saw is constructed to deliver
trouble-free service and each comes with a long life ball bearing arbor.
These saws are designed to use oil as a coolant to deliver the best in cutting
speed and life.

The FS6 and FS6-C are full size 6" trim saws with spacious work tables
and centered blades. Hinged cutting table and large slide out coolant
tank for longer blade life and easy cleaning. Removable plastic hoods
reduce misting. Vise offers increased control of material.

The FS6-C Complete includes a 6"x.025 standard blade,
1/3 hp motor, hood, vise, pulleys, and belt.
Requires 5 quarts cutting oil.
The saw is shipped in two boxes. The cutting oil needs to be
ordered separate and would probably be packed in a third box.
But we can not drop ship the oil without a saw order.

15" Flat Lap

Rugged vibrating lap for polishing slabs, geodes, bookends, and clock faces. Bergs stock the 15" and can order the 20" version. Heavy steel frame, rubber supported pans and cushioned adjustable feet, offer quiet, trouble free operation. Includes aluminum grinding pan and separate polish pan with polishing pad. Pans are easily removable for cleanup.

A replacement grind pan is $65.00 

The 15" Lortone Flat Lap and Replacement Grind Pan are usually available in our shop for walk in customers
or we will drop ship from the factory for persons farther away.
